An eight week course for business leaders who are dealing with complex and rapid change, fewer resources and harder decisions to make.

Venue: NCFE, NCFE, Q6, Quorum Business Park, Benton Lane, NE12 8BT
Following the success of our summer course, we are running another programme in the autumn.
Mindfulness in the business world is moving from the fringe to the mainstream and now features as part of many leadership and management programmes.
Faced with numerous challenges such as complex and rapid change, fewer resources and harder decisions to make – the demands of leadership are increasing and it is tough just keeping up.
This eight week course is for business leaders and offers the opportunity to develop mindful practices for a deeper understanding of self and patterns of behaviour in order to better equip you to deal with these challenges.
“Thoroughly enjoyable, well facilitated and hugely enlightening (practical)” – Graeme Fenwick, BSkyB
Why participate in this programme?
Mindfulness is a way of training your mind to be where you want it to be. “It’s like push ups for the brain” said one US Marine. Ancient wisdom, psychological research and modern neuroscience are combining powerfully to demonstrate the benefits of mindfulness for leaders at work. By incorporating mindfulness practices into your daily life you can experience:
- Better health and well being
- Clearer thinking
- Enhanced communication
- Improved leadership skills
- Greater Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
- Meaningful relationships at work and outside
- More awareness of personal stress and how to prevent it

You will also need to commit to 20/30 minutes practice every day
“An opportunity to take time out and calm the mind” – David Harker, Durham Cricket Club
